About Us
Hi, I'm Ishmeet Singh!
I am graduating high school in 2026. I founded this organization in 2022 to provide personalized academic instruction and mentorship to underserved middle and high school students who lack access to the support systems needed to succeed in math, science, and interdisciplinary STEM fields.

Ishmeet Singh honored with the Gold Level President’s Volunteer Service Award alongside Bakersfield City Mayor Karen Goh, recognizing his dedication to community service through STEM in Roots.
My Experience with STEM
Early on, I struggled to keep up academically and even had to transfer schools to continue progressing. Over the years, however, I’ve learned that challenges in STEM can be overcome with persistence and curiosity. Through experiences like competing in the National Science Bowl and conducting research for the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), I’ve not only strengthened my own understanding but also enhanced how STEM in Roots inspires and supports younger students. This initiative is my way of helping others develop the same growth mindset and resilience that shaped my own journey in STEM.
